Kelli Tolbert, MS, MB(ASCP)CM, CSSBB

Kelli Tolbert has over 20 years of clinical laboratory experience having filled roles in testing, education, process improvement and laboratory management. She joined the team at Vibra Health Laboratory in 2021 and serves as Director, Laboratory Operations. She is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the laboratory from sample receipt through result reporting and client communication as well as ensuring compliance with all standards, rules and requirements set by regulatory agencies.

Kelli’s daily goal is to ensure that the laboratory runs efficiently and can meet turnaround time service agreements in order for providers to be able to make timely and accurate medical decisions for their patients. She also oversees projects for new equipment procurement and new test validation. Her operational expertise and encouraging leadership style allows her to effectively lead the VHL lab team and support departments to maintain regulatory compliance, meet organizational goals and develop professionally to support each staff member’s individual career growth.

Kelli received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and her Master’s of Science in Administration degree in Leadership from Central Michigan University. She also is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, certified by the ASCP as a Molecular Biologist and licensed by the State of New York as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
