Carol A. Holland, PhD, MS, MT(ASCP)
Chief Laboratory Officer
Dr. Carol Holland joined VHL in 2021 and serves as Vibra Health Laboratory’s Chief Laboratory Officer (CLO). She has over 40 years’ experience in all aspects of Laboratory Medicine. As CLO, Dr. Holland is responsible for all scientific and technical aspects of the laboratory as well as ensuring compliance with all standards, rules and requirements set by regulatory agencies.

Currently, her focus is on identifying and improving VHL client needs in the clinical and molecular laboratories by researching new test options, streamlining laboratory services and increasing laboratory productivity. She also oversees all new test validation with a focus on laboratory quality to ensure accurate patient results. Dr. Holland also interacts directly with our clients to answer questions related to laboratory testing.

Dr. Holland received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Wayne State University followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Microbiology/Infectious Diseases at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI. She also obtained Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology from Oakland University in Rochester, MI., and is a certified MT (ASCP).
