Specimen Collection and Preparation
Serum or plasma sample in the following tubes:
Serum separator tube (gold or tiger top)
EDTA (lavender top) and Lithium/Sodium heparin (green top)
Specimen Storage and Stability
Store serum or plasma at the following temperatures:
Room temperature: 15°C to 25°C 8 hours
Refrigerated: 2°C to 8°C for up to 48 hours
Frozen: -20°C; Freeze within 48 hours
