Nasopharyngeal Swab - specialized swab with longer, flexible shaft and mini-tip (flocked, foam or spun synthetic with aluminum shaft) in the following tubes (1–3 mL):

Specimen Storage and Stability
Store the swab at the following temperatures:
Room temperature: 25°C ± 2°C up to 2 days
Refrigerated: 2°C to 8°C for up to 4 days
