Test Utility
Used for the quantitative determination of total 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in human serum and plasma. Vitamin D aids in controlling the amount of calcium and phosphate levels in the body.
Specimen Collection and Preparation
Store serum or plasma at the following temperatures:
Room temperature: 15°C to 30°C no longer than 72 hours
Refrigerated: 2°C to 10°C up to 1 week
Frozen: -20°C or lower up to year
