Room Temperature (20-26°C) for 2 hours.

Specimen Collection and Preparation
-
Urine sample in a sterile collection container (Minimum 5.0mL).
-
All specimens should be delivered to the laboratory and examined within 2 hours of collection for optimum results. Delay may result in false information being obtained due to possible overgrowth of bacteria and decomposition of urinary constituents.

If testing cannot be completed within two hours of collection, refrigerate the specimen for up to 24 hours. Allow specimen to return to room temperature before testing.
-
Do not centrifuge specimens until after wet testing on this system.
