Methodology
Testing performed on Beckman Coulter DxC 700 AU analyzing serum.
Test Utility
Used in the diagnosis and treatment of renal diseases, and in monitoring renal dialysis.
Specimen Storage and Stability
Allow SST specimens (Gold Top or Tiger, minimum 2.0mL) to clot 30 to 60 minutes, then immediately centrifuge to separate serum from cells. Refrigerate at 2-8C or 36-46F.
Specimen Collection and Preparation
Serum Creatinine is stable for 7 days at 2-8C and indefinitely when frozen at -20C or colder.

Performed
Monday - Saturday, 16 hours a day.
Result available after getting the specimen in 5 hours.
